SURVEY + INTERNATIONAL ADD-ON UPDATE!

Everyone --
I've been working non-stop with the folks at Backerkit to solve the problem International Backers are experiencing with the Survey sent out this week. It seems that, because I didn't include International Backers in the PRINT add-on options, those items they had already ordered in the Kickstarter were not showing up now, in the Backerkit so they could do a final confirmation of their orders.
Backerkit offered metwo solutions:
* Solution One was for me to go in to their Surveys and manually add whatever was missing. That didn't seem right to me, because it took control out of your hands.
* Solution Two was to ADD International Backers to the PRINT add-ons. (Even though I cringe at the crazy cost of international shipping for folks who want to add to their existing print orders.)
I chose Solution Two.
That means ALL OF YOU International Backers AND anyone else who previously saw ordered items MISSING from their Pledge, or who discovered their account showed a CREDIT because an ordered item wasn't showing up, need to go back into the Survey and re-confirm.
This means several new things:
* If this is working properly, NONE of you should see a "credit" error on your order. If you DO see a credit, it does NOT means you can order additional items for free; it means something is still glitching because its not identifying part of your original Pledge, and I will work with you to fix it.
* If you are an International Buyer and your ORIGINAL Kickstarter order suddenly shows additional shipping fees, don't worry. I will fix that on my end, even if it means refunding any additional shipping that Backerkit tries to charge you.
* If you update your Survey and have questions, please ASK us. Write to [email protected], and either David or I will answer you ASAP.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Today I placed a big heaping order to Uline for padded envelopes, boxes, backing boards, packing tape, labels, and more to prepare for shipping hundreds of packages. They'll be here ready and waiting for me to ship out everyone's orders in June.
Social media friends of mine who also do Kickstarters have told me that Kickstarter is beginning to offer their own version of Backerkit that, of course, is already integrated into their Pledge platform. I will certainly use that in my next Kickstarter, to avoid these headaches in the future.

Multiple updates today:
* My BACKERKIT STORE is up and running. It contains BANZAI GIRL items you may not have seen...goodies that were not part of my Kickstarters, like 11" x 17" color prints. * All of the SURVEYS have gone out so that you can provide addresses, confirm emails for digital orders, and have another chance to confirm orders and add something you might have missed. I'll be locking orders in a couple of weeks so that I can begin shipping, so please check out the Survey ASAP.
* NOTE: Some folks are having difficulty confirming their add-ons in the Survey. As I understand it, the glitch through BackerKit affects International buyers. Because International shipping for buyers of add-ons through BackerKit was going to be insanely expensive, I didn't make ordering ADDITIONAL physical add-ons an International option. Apparently a BackerKit glitch is hiding those items from even being confirmed for the original Kickstarter orders. BackerKit tells me it has made some adjustments already, though I suspect this may take a few days to resolve. If you are experiencing this problem now, even after their first adjustment, please circle back to the Survey in a few days when I hope it's resolved.
* PRIVATE COMMISSIONS -- If you've ordered a primate commission from me but not written me with a description and references of what you want, please send the information to [email protected]. I plan to ship out all the commissions on the same day.

Our BANZAI GIRL: VOLUME 2 LTD EDITION HARDCOVER KIckstarter is a big success, thanks to you! We blew through both Stretch Goals to achieve a total of nearly $26,000!
Immediate step: Each of you who selected a custom original art commission, PLEASE contact me this week so I can start on yours! If you check your emails, you will see that we already reached out to you asking for your descriptions and references (if any) so that I can get started, but so far only one of you has responded. Please write back to me today!
At work on this Update!
Next step: Kickstarter should be releasing payments to me in early April, and I can move to order shipping materials and then start collating orders.
Then: I'll prepare a BackerKit to handle the Surveys to re-confirm orders and get all your most up-to-date shipping information.
I'll update you when there's more news! Meanwhile, we are on track to ship in June.
